The Lineup For New Year’s Has Been Released

The city of Niagara Falls and the Niagara Parks Commission has released the line up for this year’s New Year’s Eve bash. The lineup is better than expected due to the last two years it hasn’t been televised. Dark Trace Media will be down there like we are every year filming a highlight reel. Last year, there was one filmed and edited it just never made it anywhere due to issues with casting.

In the previous years Dark Trace Media is down at the concert taking pictures and video that we upload to our Facebook page and our Youtube channel. These photos and videos have gained a lot of attention in the past couple of years since the show hasn’t been televised. The Niagara Parks Commission and the City of Niagara Falls have released the line up early as compared to last year’s 26th of December.

This year show includes and all Canadian line up with a repeat artist from a previous year. The show is set to have 40,000 people down in Queen Victoria Park for this year’s event. Mayor Jim Diodati says details are being “finalized” for CBC to broadcast a portion of the show across the country as part of its year-ending Canada 150 coverage. The segment, which will likely include the midnight countdown to 2018, will be hosted by Rick Mercer.
