Hamilton Police are alerting the public after a woman was sexually assaulted on the Bruce Trail.
On Wednesday, April 10, 2019, shortly after 4:00 p.m., an adult female was jogging along the Bruce Trail from the Dundurn Stairs when she stopped after hearing the suspect calling out. She was struck with an object and then sexually assaulted. The female received medical attention at a local hospital and was released. The suspect is described as follows:
Male, white 6’0, thin build, short/shaved hair and grey facial hair. He was wearing a red T-shirt and a black baseball cap.
